When you see these two products, you may not tell the difference. They are both indoor products.Their structure is similar, hollow structure.Their texture is similar, they have PVC film decorative layer. They are both easy to install. Only if you touch it. Then you know the differences. Here are some Differences.                                                                                                                                

 1.Raw Material

Hollow SPC Ceilings are made from PVC and stone powder, offering higher density and durability. Plus, their hollow structure makes them lightweight!

Traditional PVC Ceilings, on the other hand, are primarily made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Hollow SPC Ceiling is heavier than PVC ceiling,which means it’s a little bit harder to install.

2. Durability & Maintenance

Hollow SPC Ceilings are water-resistant and perfect for humid areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Their life span is 20 years.  

PVC Ceilings can warp or age in high humidity.Their life span is 10 years.

3.Cost

SPC ceiling is more durable. While they have a higher upfront cost, their longevity makes them a smart investment. This is the newest product. When people want longer life span, they invented this product.

PVC ceilings are cheaper and easier to install, but you might end up replacing them sooner.
